In honor of women's history month and the fact that women are, you know, human beings who who live among us, pay attention to the way that they are described. In politics, in pop culture, in our day to day lives, it's pervasive.
If a woman is smart, outspoken, and independent? She will likely be described as bossy, aggressive, overbearing, intimidating. Would a strong, outspoken, confident man be described that way? Probably not. More likely: "That guy has leadership skills."
I am not intimidating. I am outgoing, I am smart, and I'll tell you what I really think. I am NOT intimidating just because you feel intimidated. If you find strong, intelligent women with opinions intimidating? That's a you problem.
